Weekend schedule
Friday — 24 September
We kick off the weekend in Sesimbra, the beach town south of Lisbon where we recommend guests stay for the weekend. We'll meet, raise a glass and get in the mood for the wedding. Exact time and place to be revealed later.
Saturday — 25 September
The wedding itself. A ceremony and a proper celebration at Quinta da Conceição. Hot nights, delicious food, cold drinks and dancing into the night. Exact schedule to be revealed later.
Sunday — 26 September
A soft landing after the big night. We return to Quinta da Conceição to see the weekend off by the pool. Exact schedule to be revealed later.
The venue
The wedding takes place at Quinta da Conceição, a historic country estate from 1715 in Azeitão, at the foot of the Arrábida mountains about 40 minutes south of Lisbon. Cork-oak forests, old gardens, a pool and warm Portuguese evenings — plenty of room to dance under the open sky.
Fly to Lisbon (Humberto Delgado Airport). Direct flights from Keflavík take about four hours, then it's roughly a 40-minute drive south to the venue.
A quarter of an hour from the wedding quinta is the beach town of Sesimbra, where we'll gather on the Friday evening — and where you'll find excellent hotels. You can also stay in Azeitão and be even closer to the quinta.

Dressed up and colourful — think Portuguese late-summer evening, not a funeral. More details closer to the date.
Lisbon in late September is usually 20–26°C by day and mild in the evening. A light jacket or shawl for the night is smart — and sunscreen for the day.
The party is adults only — but we fully understand if a little one who still depends on their parents comes along.
You coming all the way to Lisbon is the greatest gift. If you insist regardless, a honeymoon account will be shared later.
